As the public relations assistant attached to a nonprofit tasked with delivering Internet access to the Philadelphia Housing Authority I led a team in street outreach to reach a population popular advertising could not reach.
Accomplishments
? Distributed 5,000 laptops, training, and Internet access to underprivileged Philadelphians in an attempt to bridge the digital divide.
? Interviewed and built media packages for pitching resident and organizational success stories.
? Worked one on one with residents to understand where they received their information, then rolled out a partner media plan with community organizations.
