Derek Cooper Jr: General Engineer

Federal mechanical engineer, supporting the war-fighter through research and development of new and existing weaponry/vehicles. Specifically, designing test fixtures and providing design inputs for the projectile team. In addition, creating and interpreting technical drawings using Geometric, Dimensioning, and Toleracing (GD&T).

Contracted mechanical engineer, provided support to Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) projectile team. The job entailed, drafting technical procedural documents and interface control documents and assisting in telemetry implementation during multiple projectile test events.
