Devon Tucker is a senior at the University of Georgia and will graduate in December. She is a major in journalism with a focus in visual and lifestyle journalism and recently finished her minor in studio art (emphasis in photography). Her work can be seen on @exploreathens, UGAzine, the Red & Black and www.36hoursinprague.com.

Over the last four years, Devon has developed skills in all online media. She has experience in producing magazines and catalogs, developing video packages and photo essays, writing articles and working as a social media editor. During the summer of 2016, she interned for Faherty Brand in New York City, where she worked in the e-commerce, marketing and graphic design departments. At Faherty, she assisted with product photography, photoshoots, projects within Adobe Creative Suite and clerical duties.

After graduation Devon hopes to work with outdoor/lifestyle brands to produce social media, catalogs, and creative content.

UGAzine is a lifestyle magazine in the Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communication at UGA. At the magazine Devon is the head photographer for the fashion section and photographs an issue four times a year. 

For her last semester at UGA, she will also take on the role as the social media editor for the magazine.

Since her sophomore year, Devon has been second in command for Explore Athens. Explore Athens is a student-run online publication and Instagram account in Athens, GA. Her duties include photographing content for articles, providing content for the Instagram and some website design. She also contributes some written content as well.

During the summer of 2016, I interned in New York City at Faherty Brand. At Faherty, I worked directly under the head of marketing/ecommerce
and the graphic designer where I assisted with product photography, e-commerce, blog content, duties for both the wholesale and fall catalogs, Photoshop and clerical duties.

As the marketing and social media chair, Devon worked directly with the President and Recruitment Chairs to manage all social media platforms. She also created the new Chi Omega (Mu Beta Chapter) Website.
