I am most interested in using my experience in trend forecasting, sales analysis, and line planning to innovate new apparel ideas with production factories

- Consult with clients to present product assortment plans from their concept to approval. 
- Partner with Design, on creative direction and sku counts, for the client’s product assortment
- Lead seasonal meetings highlighting design direction, technical design, and margins of all skus
- Create a Time & Action production schedule with new athletes/influencers; illustrating deadlines, expected margins, and places of improvements
- Lead & Initiate communication with clients, internal team, & manufactures to manage product expectations, & timelines leading to minimal miscommunications
- Source, vet, and negotiate with manufactures who’s core competency is producing apparel/accessories on various time schedules; typically within 30 days, 60 days, & 90 days; established a tight group of domestic & international manufactures
- Collect all design assets; art files, tech packs, and spec sheets and submit to factories
- Source fabric and trims for all skus
- Lead Sample Review & Fit meeting recapping fabric, trims, costs, and any discrepancies 
- Negotiate and Finalize all sku costs, margins, and delivery dates 
- Identify & Propose specific areas of sales growth for brands that will open new product revenue streams 

- Build product assortments accounting for $1.0m - $3.0m in monthly sales; dependent upon season
- Grasp an understanding of the 4 customer camps through various sales analysis, market trends, and store correspondence
- Communicate product knowledge to Marketing, Styling, and store employees on a bi-weekly basis
- React to current business through reorders, on-order maintenance, and markdown schedules to ensure a consistent flow of seasonally appropriate deliveries
- Line Plan future seasons with internal design team to ensure we are on trend with our desired customer camps
- Present a strategic seasonal product assortment that is within Planning’s budget, desired IMU plan, and achievable Gross Margin goals to DMM, GM, and President
- Partner with Allocations team to ensure product collections are reaching their strategic store grouping
- Consistently shop competitors to maintain market advantage. Devise deliverable plan, if any trend is missing

Mens Knits Buyer

- Assort a mix of brands that has realized 46% growth YTD; and 45% growth in 2011; accounting for 52% annual retail sales
- Manage inventory levels across 31 categories to ensure goal margins of 40% or above, and Weeks of Supply of 6 -10 weeks
- Create budgets for all 60+ brands, on a seasonal basis; by analyzing previous season’s successes & failures
- Collaborate with brands on creating, and developing, exclusive product to fill holes in their line assortment based on past successes and forecasted trend
- Present trends to New York Design office to assist in the development of private labels; with the goal of realizing seasonal sales margins of 60% or better 
- Introduced brands to a new market; which has led to their annual sales growth, and expansion into new accounts 
- Build relationships with Sales Managers and Reps to introduce Karmaloop, as a premier online retailer that will grow their business
