I've spent my life working in the action sports industry.

I've been heavily involved in surf, windsurf, kite, snowboard and accessories for the past 25 years+ from R & D through marketing and more recently into brand management.

I've been lucky enough to work with some of the leading brands which has taken me on an amazing life journey to all four corners of the world often rubbing shoulders with my childhood heros!

I'm still addicted to the sports that I work in. An avid wave windsurfer, surf kiter, foiler, enduro moto rider and cyclist. I believe this has been key in my successful career so far. When the flame goes out it's time to move on...



Managing leading action sports brands for one of the UK’s largest and well-known specialist sports distributors.

Duties:

-     Marketing brands to increase their popularity with target consumers
-     Guiding sales to achieve targets
-     Analysing performance and trends to ensure continued growth and success
-     Globally liaising with brand owners for R&D, sales and market input
-     Participate in international meetings, product shoots and film projects
-     Managing ordering, pricing, stock and sales processes
-     Working and forming relationships with specialist media to ensure brand 
       coverage and heighten market awareness
-     Responsible for marketing budgets
-     Organising public and trade shows 



Working within a unique tour operator specialising in providing customers with a bespoke path into the world of action sports across various international environments and destinations. 

Duties:
-      Making contact, building relationships with and selling product to both private 
        and corporate customers in a competitive target based environment
-      Producing and presenting multi-media product pitches to larger clients to tender 
        for incentive travel business
-      Guiding sales from initial contact to close
-       Manage and train a team of 8 sales consultants
-       Work alongside marketing department to ensure correct company profile,

Sales and New Business Manager

An integral role within the UK’s largest and longest running independent importer and distributor of premium action sports hardware and accessories. Working with the finest brands from around the world.

Duties:	
-     Working with a portfolio of market leading brands – responsible for all forms of 
       marketing including advertising, professional athletes, international shows and  
       large scale product testing/sales trips
-      Co-ordinating the marketing plan and budget for the company’s entire collection
-	Ambassador for the company meeting with various media and professionals to 
        further brand exposure in printed and web based press, television/film, national 
        and international events 
-      Key point of contact for manufacturers and retailers – responsible for logistics, 
        forecasting, international meetings and product testing
-      Wholly responsible for key brand in the company’s mix. Entrusted with pricing, 
        ordering, sales and distribution
-      Communicating with sales representatives to ensure co-ordination with sales 
        plan and marketing direction
