Project 1: Calculation of mold level hunting by unsteady bulging during continuous casting of slab • Performed structural analysis using Abaqus and Matlab • Inspected the simulation method by simplified model to expand to the requested model • Analyzed the result data of Abaqus simulation using Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) on Matlab • Built Matlab codes to analyze the bulging displacement of solidified shell of a continuous casting's slab • Communicated actively with the customer to verify the procedure of computational simulation • Reported progress in customer meeting periodically Project 2: Designing water channels in a casting mold for an improvement of cooling power • Performed thermal and structural analysis using Ansys • Constructed 3D modeling and meshing for three different staves of a blast furnace • Presented the result in customer meeting
