Having recently obtained my Associate of Applied Arts in Accounting, I am currently in the market to put my Accounting skills to use. I am treating my career search like a job and working hard at getting myself back into the job market on a daily basis.

•	Collected and compiled sales, property and income tax reports from more than 100 retail stores, and prepared federal, state and local tax returns for filing.
•	Calculated monthly tax accruals and payments, posted general ledger entries, scheduled meeting rooms, and coordinated information and documents for auditors.
•	Monitored, maintained and renewed store business licenses and fees, responded to resale certificates and W-9 requests, and managed office supplies and equipment for the department.

Administrative Assistant III Corporate Tax

•	Provided administrative support to the executive management team, payroll and contract administrators.
•	Produced weekly management reports, monthly Business & Occupation (B&O) tax payment, expense reports, general ledger entries, reconciled company credit card and petty cash accounts.
•	Coded A/P, ordered supplies, responded to requests for checks, W-9s, certificates of insurance, business licenses and tracking resale certificates.

•	Edited multi-user databases for a mapping application, updated land-use dataset for future land-use mapping and created maps in ArcGIS for land use purposes. Constructed an index map for historic land-use maps.
•	Scanned multi-page and large document zoning files, scanned historic land-use maps and created PDF bookmarks.
•	Quality assurance tested an internal web-based program (ZAWeb).
