Edward Hoffman: Store Manager/Social Media Responsibilities in Carlsbad, CA

? Responsible for managing a team of three to four employees on any given day. ? Requires quick problem solving skills and smart decision making when customer problems arise. ? Communicated to brand representatives regarding customer orders or warranty claims. ? Always have a positive attitude with customers when they are shopping in the store. ? Picked up and learned an extensive amount of industry knowledge to better answer customer questions and to help close sales for the company. ? (Specific weekends only, scheduled months in advance) ? Work in a small team of two to three photographers. ? Take high quality photos of all riders who race down the designated race trail. ? Responsible for scouting trails ahead of the race to determine the ideal photo zone. ? Edit up to 2000 photos at a time to make available for sale. ? Post photos to social media with relevant tags to help drive photo sales.

(Furloughed due to COVID-19) ? Took photos of newborns in hospital rooms just a day or two after mom gave birth. ? Only one photographer in each hospital on any given day so I was solely responsible for speaking with all the new moms, trying to convince them to do a photoshoot, scheduling those that do, taking the photos, editing them, then returning to sell the photo packages. ? Had to operate while respecting various hospital safety and sanitation rules.

Communicated with customers to ensure they remained safe as well as enjoyed their time at the park. ? Tasked with general upkeep and cleaning of trampoline pads, eating zones, and bathrooms. ? Worked to uphold their motto "safety first, awesome second"

Shadowed on visits to clients houses as well as to various distributors of tile, flooring, furniture, etc. ? Took measurements of spaces to create 3D visuals of the clients renovated space in a Computer Aided Design program.
