-Plan and execute strategic marketing communication, like social media campaigns, blog creation and management, copywriting, public relations, affiliate network building, and website/landing page content coordination.

-Research, develop, and monetize content creation projects that delivers empowering nutrition and health information, boost loyal readership, and expand company assets. Blog articles, newsletters, and social media publishings have directly resulted in significant recurring revenue. 

-Hire and manage effective content creation teams, including writers and designers to bring additional ideas and creativity to enhance the company brand equity and awareness. 

-Foster relationships with health and fitness industry influencers as well as developing new business opportunities for AMRAP's Paleo health supplements.

-Collaborate with team to design and implement business and function level strategies that directly result in expanded brand awareness online and in the community of athletes who use CrossFit.

Worked with a team across departments and student bodies to research and produce a transparent and first-ever sustainability report for the College of Business and Economics. During the project, I--

? Collected and interpreted data to outline COBE’s triple bottom line efforts and examine student and staff diversity

Market Research Consultant

Coordinated marketing communication for over 21 Federal SAFER and NHTSA awarded grant projects for fire service and law enforcement clients. Accomplishments included:
? Developed grant narratives and budgets for prospective new clients
? Coordinated event logistics for two-day fire service training, including hotel and training site contract negotiation
? Managed customer service helpdesk and volunteer firefighter recruitment website and custom database: volunteerfirefighter.org
? Planned the annual conference for the International Association of Directors of Law Enforcement Standards and Training (IADLEST) ? Collected and interpreted financial data for federal grant accountability reporting through MS Excel

Marketing and Event Coordinator

-Created and managed a database of contacts for promotional activity during the 2012 and 2013 public speaker series seasons. 

-Planned event strategy and speaker lineup from universities, including Duke, Harvard, University of Florida, University of Essex (England), University of N. British Columbia, Middleburg College, and more. Acted as ambassador to guest speakers, arranging travel and local tourism.

-Planned a content strategy and created multi-media campaigns on multiple platforms including social media pages, email marketing, and direct mailing.

-Researched event sponsors and grant-funding to increase awareness and financial backing for the interdisciplinary lecture series. Upon following up leads, my efforts initiated a partnership with local environmental and city organizations, and national organizations, such as The Nature Conservancy.

Marketing and Promotions Manager

Worked closely with news editors to understand the editorial process while pitching story ideas, researching, interviewing, drafting, and work-shopping stories until printed online or in print. Also, worked daily with multimedia news platforms including blogging for news, art and entertainment genres and creating short films through Mac and Adobe for the newspaper’s online music series.

Contributing News Writer

Reviewed beta and verification stages of printer user manuals and other deliverables. Position at Aquent also included internal technical writing and creative information development, specifically incorporating social media as a method of advertising Aquent’s name. Two major projects included designing a web blog to convey information aesthetically to technical writing professionals on topics of software, project management, and emerging trends within this field, and writing and publishing Aquent staff professional biographies for studios in Boise, Texas, Colorado, Kansas, and Massachusetts to be used as job proposal tools.

Managing wildfire, treating & reducing overcrowded fire fuels, participating in special projects for habitat renewal, preparing reports and compiling research gathered from wildfire monitoring, copying, filing and organizing necessary paperwork, undergoing intensive months of fire school, government certifications, physical fitness testing and daily fitness conditioning.
