Senior Product Manager – The Outdoor Recreation Group, Los Angeles, CA 08/11 to present
- Product focus is camping backpacks, fishing tackle bags, hunting backpacks, waist packs, hydration packs, technical packs, hard goods, luggage, SMU
- Travel and work with a 10 person sales team to establish the needs of our customers
- Provide current trends as well as trends on the horizon for both specialty and mass market
- Time Manage a 5 person industrial design team
- Assist in packaging development with the graphics team
- Facilitate official design pass offs to the technical department
- Cost engineer and finalize product with factories overseas
- Travel both domestically and international for tradeshows, customer meetings and design with factories
- Train new factories in research and development protocol
