I believe in the simplicity of being honest, kind, and optimistic. I also have an unrivaled fondness for Cheerios and giggling. This might sound odd to lead with, but if you knew me, are getting to know me, it makes perfect sense. I have an innate need to make people smile. I often think Human Resources and Community Outreach can be seen as the masked operations teams that do the dirty work within a company. I want to bring the smile back to what these departments do at their core; find, develop, fine-tune, and share the strengths in others.

Previously focused on the account side of advertising and public relations, I love to investigate the "why," to understand how individuals and companies tick. With time I discovered, though the marketing aspect of agency life is still an interest, I was more invested in the people I work with, work for. My love for philanthropic work and community engagement was born.

I love being outside, whatever the context. I am an aspiring beer connoisseur and current whisk(e)y drinker. I am a lover of listening. To stories, to music. Owned holistic fundraising program for all 2,500+ restaurant locations by vetting local partners, ensuring partners obtained all information and social media/marketing assets upon approval, reviewing tax documentation, and answering all general inquiries and collected proceeds questions.

Appointed specialist for all regional fundraisers allocated for national nonprofits and natural disaster relief efforts, responsible for scheduling, communicating needs and procedures to all participating locations, and sending donation results to all partners and third-party agencies following the event.

Community Roots Consultant

Post Firespring’s Certified B Corporation recognition, facilitated community outreach by playing matchmaker between the team’s 250+ members and volunteer opportunities/nonprofits within the Lincoln community.

Administered and audited volunteering efforts, responsible for guiding new team members on community outreach policies and tracking software during company new hire on-boarding process.

Served as chief face and voice for organization, liaising directly with all incoming clients, nonprofits, and applicants through in-person meetings and inquiries via phone and email.

When hiring new team members, met with applicable managers for a “Kick Off” meeting, i.e., refresher course on the hiring process, discussion of needs to fill the new role, and the discussion of compensation and benefits per position being filled.

Tasked with writing the job descriptions for open positions and posting on both the internal website and applicable external job boards.
