Work closely with lead designers to achieve cohesive, Made in USA kids’ collection that is both cost effective and on-trend. Use my studio experience to pattern and sew cut-and-sew knitwear samples as required. Proficient CAD skills ensure seamless collaboration with sample-makers via tech packs.

Maximized time and cost by recoloring & revising best-selling print/pattern designs in-house. Through command of trends, fit commentary, construction know-how and fabric knowledge, more accurate samples were created along with lead designer. Utilized CAD abilities to ensure accurate sample send-outs that had to be easily understood by non-english speaking vendors. Was selected as the only junior level designer to attend Magic Sourcing show in vegas to procure new vendors, by account of textile knowledge and overall performance.

Contributed to organization’s contemporary style through research of trend forecasts. Ensured easily retrievable print library for vendors and designers through organization and administrative skills. Assisted CAD artists in studio with creation of original artwork and other day-today activities.
