Fred Krickel: Creative Art Director in carlsbad, CA

I’ve been in the advertising design business since graduating from Art Center College of Design in 1988. What motivates me to get out of bed every day is the chance to come up with something new and fresh for my clients. Although trained as an art director, I think I’m also a pretty decent writer. I began my career at Cochrane Chase, Livingston and Company. At that time it was orange county’s biggest ad agency and part of the Saatchi and Saatchi network. Then after they closed their doors, I did a couple stints at other agencies and then went on to start Outhouse Advertising and Design in 1996. And finally, to where I am currently—KrickelCreative. I've been crafting messages, designing marketing materials and integrated campaigns (both print and Web) for some of the biggest brands in the world, including: Toshiba, KIA Motors, 3M, Johnson and Johnson, Yamaha, Edwards Life Sciences, Polycom and Yamaha, just to name a few. Admittedly a happy workaholic and an enthusiastic mentor, I simply love what I do and always keep a cool head, even during the most pressurized of deadlines. Right now I'm based in Southern California but also have a residence in San Francisco, CA., so I can work anywhere in the state or the world!
