Global Indirect Buyer - Services - Engineering, Test, Validation & IT

- Lead and facilitate the strategic source selection and approval process, obtain approvals and maintain records.
- Negotiate agreements by analyzing supplier quotations and terms, achieving the best global commercial conditions.

Indirect Buyer - Contract Labor, Engineering Services & IT

- Analyze critical raw materials report and create purchase orders using Microsoft Dynamics GP 2013 to ensure availability to meet production schedule.
- Receive incoming raw materials orders into inventory using ERP system.
- Review raw material price trends based on historical costs and market dynamics.
- Negotiate with suppliers to obtain the best possible price that meets material specifications.
- Vendor management including setup, order placement through product delivery, monitoring supplier performance, visits to vendor facilities, and creation of Corrective Action Reports when necessary.
- Enter inventory adjustments and assist with root cause analysis of discrepancies.
- Conduct cycle counts for raw material and finished goods inventory.
- Schedule and monitor booking status of inbound materials to ensure orders are received on time.
- Work with carriers and brokers to address import logistics issues.
- Implemented storage and sharing of procurement related documents electronically.
- Collaborate with Accounts Payable and vendors to resolve invoicing issues.
- Conduct dock audits of outgoing customer shipments.
