Carrying out factory inspections to monitor the compliance of both locally manufactured and imported products with the Nigerian Industrial Standards. Such products include: Decorative paints, Flexible polyurethane foam, Motor vehicle engine lubricating oils, Soaps, Detergents, Paper and Paper products, Rubber and Plastics products, Ball point pens, Insecticides, Toothpastes, Toothbrrushes, Cosmetics, Nail polish, Shoe polish and Scouring powder. ? Carrying out the on-the-spot Laboratory analysis of the products listed in (i) above. ? Elaborating / Review of Plastic and Rubber Products' Standards as may be assigned from time to time. ? Organising tests to ensure compliance with designated Chemical Technology Standards. ? Conducting a third party Management Systems Audits in line with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001 and Integrareted Management Systems Standards in the following industries: Oil & gas engineering services, food & food products, financial services, cosmetics, plastics, waste management services, manufacture of engine lubricating oils and telecommunication services. ?
