Georgios Chondrogiannis: 3PM & OPERATIONS INTERN in Amsterdam

Headed the logistics part of 3 innovative and complex exporting projects from several European countries and external factories to challenging diverse markets (Africa, Asia) with freight, air and road transportation. Explored requirements and executed Import and Export documentation along with Timetable/Lead times and Ownership, co-authoring the SLAs. Coordinated among CBU, buyers, carriers, and 3PM on issues (quality, performance) and issued resolution on transportation disruptions and any necessary claims matters. Analyzed performance of transport providers through feedback from stakeholders (CBU, 3PM) and co-built solutions. Contributed to optimization in logistics areas: truck utilization, palletization changes, co-loading, etc. Improved partnership with leading global forwarders and external Factories being the first Operational POC. Performed spend analysis for 2019 tender process accounting for 600+ identifying costs saving and optimization (lead time, efficiency in loading/unloading, monitoring, business continuity) opportunities such as supply base rationalization and better allocation to optimize current tender process. Arranged and expedited payments and purchase orders as well as keeping a significant track of them in collaboration with Accounting team. Chaired products' code creation process, experienced with SAP. Organized and hosted cross-functional workshops, quantified innovative ideas for implementation.

During my service I took the responsibilities that came with this demanding but didactic position. My daily tasks were to coordinate and distribute activities to more than 100 soldiers by working significant hours and eventually improving my skills on Excel, Word and Photoshop under occasional miscommunication, tight time schedules and notable attention to details.
