Mechanical Engineering Intern

Generated 3D CAD models, utilizing Solidworks, for all the subsystems of the automation line including the plasma treatment,
manual palletizer, star-wheel design and can-positioning devices.
-   Rapid prototyping using 3D printed parts to conceptually test several components of the automation line while wiring and assembling chosen equipment.
-   Responsible for the evaluation and budget management process for automating the production line including obtaining vendor
quotes, reviewing vendor technical documents, and ultimately recommending and purchasing all the necessary equipment.

- Produced and designed a vendor display rack that holds up to 3 rockymounts racks, the process included prototyping, 3D modeling, communicating with manufacturers to get design feedback, manufacturability, quotes and samples and ultimately going to production.
 - Organized a cloud server and documented control processes to help catalogue 25 years of 2,000+ disorganized engineering files, reducing rework and issues with SolidWorks files.
- Designed a 1.25” to 2” anti-wobble hitch adapter for rockymounts bike racks that reduces the wobble of a 1.25” hitch bike rack placed into a 2” hitch.
