Designing and overseeing design and production. Following through from overseas retail trips, buying and trend research, to design of garments in CAD forms, building ranges, presentation of ranges and trend packs to production. Including detailed tech packs, print markers and print approvals. Fit samples, QA and production. Building of category layout boards, core boards and skeletons. Build marketing bodies. Trend research via the likes of buying and trend overseas trips, WGSN, online, etc. Preparing and issuing briefs. Dealing with trims and fabrics, local and overseas suppliers, buyers. Constantly keeping up with competitors ranges. Very fast, pressurised environment working within a team.

Senior clothing designer of the Mr Price Group Menswear fashion forward in house brand, RT.

Duties & Responsibilities
Designing and overseeing design and production. Following through from overseas retail trips, buying and trend research, to design of garments in CAD forms, building ranges, presentation of ranges and trend packs to production. Including detailed tech packs, print markers and print approvals. Fit samples, QA and production. Building of category layout boards, core boards and skeletons. Build marketing bodies. Trend research via the likes of buying and trend overseas trips, WGSN, online, etc. Preparing and issuing briefs. Dealing with trims and fabrics, local and overseas suppliers, buyers. Creative Cloud/Adobe – Illustrator CC, Photoshop CC, Bridge CC, Adobe Acrobat. Various Microsoft applications, Word, Excel.

Production, design and distribution of brand name clothing as well as  
      brand marketing and skate team manager

Duties & Responsibilities
Designing and overseeing production, design and distribution of 
Menswear and boyswear brand clothing. Following through from design of the garments to make up and approval of samples. Including tech packs, print markers, print approvals, fit samples, QA and production, building catalogues, putting ranges together and showing ranges. Dealing with trims and fabrics, suppliers, buyers and customers. Designing of all marketing involved from monthly magazine ads, to billboards and posters, instore branding and sponsor branding of airplanes and cars. Event co-ordination and organization such as the Zoo York Bombing Florida event and Zoo York SUP Race event. Running of the Zoo York and TapouT online facebook pages daily. Managing the Zoo York SA Skate team. Managing the skaters and their needs. Organizing photo shoots, events and the skate team Zoo York life. 
Main programmes used would be Photoshop CS4 and Illustrator CS4.

Duties & Responsibilities
Designing and overseeing production, design and distribution of 
Menswear, boyswear and preboys brand clothing. Following through from design of the garments to make up and approval of samples. Dealing with trims and fabrics, suppliers and customers. Designing of ladies and girls sleepwear, activewear and fleece.
Main programmes used would be Photoshop CS2 and Freehand 10.
