Surf life-saver - Surf Life Saving is a world-wide movement which offers members of our community the opportunity to get involved, make a difference, improve your fitness, learn new skills, compete in surf carnivals, learn leadership skills, build new friendships, increase confidence, have some fun and perhaps even save a life, either on or off the beach. Becoming a Lifesaver in Australia means that you are joining the largest volunteer organisation in the world.
A Surf Lifesaver is a trained volunteer who helps provide a safe place for locals and visitors to swim, surf or just enjoy the beach.  Volunteer Lifesavers patrol our beach every weekend and on public holidays during the patrol season.
