Living in the sportswear metropolis of Portland, Oregon, I am a ‘product guy’ who’s fascinated with creating (and using) reliable goods that perform as great as they look. *JAN 2020-NOV 2020:

Global Associate Merchandise Manager for Jordan Kids, Women’s and Men’s Modern (23 Engineered) supporting the Global Merchandise Manager(s) for each business with creating consumer-right assortments while considering geography-specific account product needs, distribution, price, and volume.

Additionally supports cross-functional Product, Geo-Merchandising, Marketplace, Brand, Operations, Demand Planning, and Sales teams with providing insight to product updates, forecasts, launch dates, and more.

Manages the creation and continuous update of seasonal assortment tools and Product Journeys using Assort Visual (AV), Keynote, and Merch-Man X (MMX) programs to effectively display and manage global product launch, flow, and range architecture.

Visual and financial tools created are utilized heavily in Product Alignment (PA), Product Read Out (PRO), and Internal Sales Review (ISR) meetings, as well as downstream at the Geography, Country, and Territory levels of Nike during Key Account Product Meetings (KAPM) and throughout the journey to market.

Manages Launch & Release for highly anticipated Legacy, Performance, and Modern product offerings for Jordan Kid’s and Women’s footwear – representing the businesses in Global Launch & Signature IBA meetings with Brand, Marketplace, Merchandising, and Demand Planning partners aimed at effectively planning launches amidst external factors including factory delays, airfreight reduction targets, and global pandemics.

Product Manager (a.k.a. Product Line Manager) for Adidas’ Licensed Speed Graphics and Initial Graphic Modification (IGM) programs

•	Managed creative process behind custom graphic-tee shirt, fleece, and headwear creation to fulfill orders at a reduced/ASAP lead-time from Adidas’ Indianapolis based domestic production factory.
•	Worked cross-functionally on a remote basis with Graphic Design, Development, Legal, Merchandising and Sales partners to commercialize product from concept to creation, relying heavily on SharePoint, Adobe Creative Suite and Track-It asset/project management software to facilitate brief, design, development and subsequent production necessary to achieve targeted sales deadlines. 
•	Created and maintained product data for newly created Speed Graphics and IGM ranges, models, and articles (a.k.a. SKUs) in FlexPLM (-SS19), Marketing Portal (FW19+), and Range Management Application (RMA) systems.


Assistant Product Manager for Adidas Licensed Training Apparel (NHL & MLS) & Headwear (NCAA & NHL)

•	Assisted with creation of Inline, SMU, and event-specific apparel for the NHL and MLS leagues, and headwear for NCAA and NHL leagues - collaborating regularly with cross-functional Technical Design, Graphic Design, Development, Merchandising, Communications and Sourcing partners to meet creation calendar dates and gates.
•	Led bi-weekly event product creation meetings with cross-functional merchandising, design, development, and league licensing partners to support various event graphics needs for all leagues (fleece, tees, pants, jackets, hats).
•	Contributed content and attended semi-annual meetings for seasonal assortment Kick-Off, thorough Design & Concept Reviews, and detailed product Gut-Checks.
•	Utilized Marketing Portal product line management system to complete range, model, and article creation for 6000+ unique SKUs seasonally in SS19, FW19, and SS20.


Product (Line) Manager - Licensed Training

Mountain Hardwear Lead & Vietnam LO Lead 

•	Improved Mountain Hardwear’s on-time, in-full (OTIF) customer delivery metrics from -75% to -87% through better communication with supply chain partners at Vietnam liaison office (LO); improved the delay report template, increased reporting frequency, and provided quality data analysis to ensure both the brand and the factories the LO supported were held accountable for delays in production and subsequent freight prioritization liability.
•	Led bi-weekly conference calls with regional Mountain Hardwear supply planning, demand planning, and cross-functional product creation teams covering prepared agendas regarding new and outstanding issues and progress towards resolution.
•	Collaborated with planning and production teams to issue and maintain SAP purchase orders, balancing physical inventory and minimizing excess production, carrying costs, and freight expenses.
•	Met or exceeded customer expectations by prioritizing production, expediting shipments, and accommodating door-specific value-added services (VAS) needs; generated reporting on established metrics, PO status, vendor on-time performance (OTP), key style status, and shipping method; ensured on-time and in-full delivery to wholesale customers by minimizing production delays, shortages, and demand misalignment through regular reporting and communication with LO partners.

Global Buyer II - Mountain Hardwear brand Lead & Vietnam LO Lead

•	Pricing Analyst:  Managed futures and at-once sales order discount rates in SAP, dependent on customer’s qualifications in Columbia’s preexisting sales programs.

•	Customer Master Data Analyst:  Maintained customer master data in JD-Edwards and SAP ERP systems’ address books; partnered cross-functionally with credit, logistics, sales operations, and pricing to complete customer requests for >6000 external wholesale customers and 26,000 retail locations; managed Account Service Rep and Sales Rep SAP tables for 180+ reps across all 5 Columbia-owned brands.

Pricing & Master Data Analyst

•	Supported end-to-end product creation process through maintenance of product line data in MMX, FlexPLM, and GOAL merchandising and product management systems; met seasonal product creation go-to-market calendar dates and gates, while gaining a thorough understanding of product attributes, composition, and the product life-cycle from concept to creation.

Product File Coordinator (Product Line Coordinator)

•	Key Merchandising contact for NFL category apparel product information.  Generated reports and participated in bi-weekly category team meetings, escalating relevant product issues to cross-functional category partners and addressing requested product data updates as needed; maintained regional and country-level product line data in Merch-Man X (MMX).

Category Information Specialist (Category Manager) - NFL

•	Managed Jordan Brand and Nike Basketball’s first-offer-date and Quick-Turn footwear launches setup process in SAP; preceded highly anticipated product releases through Nike’s brick and mortar stores and Nike.com retail outlets; utilized Product Catalog (PCAT) and BNX systems to take advantage of opportunities within offered product assortments; stewarded category sections on Nike.com to ensure product, image, copy, and description specifications were completed without error and material setup was finalized in the SAP Retail system.

•	Managed transfer of markdown product from the Nike.com BRD warehouse to Nike factory stores using MARC software, collaborating cross-functionally with retail planners and Nike factory stores allocators to compile and distribute reporting for the order entry process.  *Maintained responsibilities after transitioning from Buying Coordinator role in Oct. 2011.

Digital Content Coordinator - Jordan Brand & Nike Basketball

•	Assisted the DTC Jordan Brand Buyer, Planner, and Allocator in contracting and distributing open-to-buy product, handling purchase order entry, creation of line art, and category product (sample) management using SAP-Retail (initially Island Pacific); utilized COGNOS for weekly reporting compilation of Nike’s sell-thru performance at retail stores, employee store, and Nike.com.  Assisted the Senior Buyer with seasonal category “pitchbacks” to the President and VP of NA Retail.
