My experience as a Production engineer intern  involved rigorous and continuous monitoring of automotive wiring harnesses and commercial aircraft parts production, relying on thorough Statistical Quality Control methods Six-Sigma DMAIC analysis.
Particularly interested in various facets of Operations Research, I have been involved in a multitude of successful Supply Chain and Monte Carlo Simulation projects.


Contributions to the Boeing 787-9 DREAMLINER Program:

-Constructed a 3D design clean-room layout for Horizontal Stab production. 
-Established Product Definition Baselines.
-Stochastic Modeling of the assembly flow to support project proposal.
-Established Tool Wear and Scrappage Rate tracking system. 
-Identify all required process specifications for production.

Industrial Engineering Intern

Supervising production flow 
Identifying bottleneck elements
Creating a set of directives to eliminate bottlenecks 
Waste management and wire scrap reduction through Six Sigma analysis 
Evaluating the efficiency of Arburg injection molding machines 
Handling Daimler , BMW , Mercedez and Audi claims regarding non-compliant harnesses
Created a Simulation model of the assembly lines
Predicted the average expected downtime for critical components of the line
Determined optimal number of operators to be allocated for each position

Production Engineering Intern

Monitoring assembly line processes 
Diagnosing and troubleshooting hardware / software conflicts (EMDEP Test boards for electric testing )
Constructing SIMIO model for assembly line 
Exploiting gathered SIMIO Data to provide a comprehensive approach to optimizing production 
Predicting Average number of failures and average failure time using Monte Carlo Simulation
