Creative Director at Stumptown Coffee

Hi, I’m Hanna. 

I have spent 19 years building brands at the intersection of sports and lifestyle and am currently swimming waist deep in coffee culture with Stumptown Coffee. I have worked across diverse creative projects—from brand building to experience design to product design to marketing 
strategy and execution. 

My passion is understanding consumer drivers and crafting compelling stories, strategies and experiences that curate life long consumer/brand relationships. I like to call it "Koolaid building". 

Be it a brand, team, experience, or wild idea—I am constantly creating.

At a high level, I lead and steward the creative vision of Stumptown Coffee. On the day to day, I manage and inspire the creative/marketing teams to strategically execute smart, authentic creative across all channels: Retail, Wholesale, CPG, eComm and Social.

Founder

Launched Lance Armstrong’s vodka brand out of Aspen, Colorado. Branding, voice and tone and strategy across all brand touch points: digital experience, product, marketing, events and more.

Director of Brand and Creative Strategy

Femmes 6 is a pop up creative agency made up of a global collective of elite women, originally formed to develop brand strategy and creative for Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift. We are innovators, athletes, strategists, gamers, futurists, art directors, copywriters, designers and comms. We started as 6, like a peloton, but have grown beyond. We build strong fandoms for women, craft compelling narratives and inspire action.

Design Director

Oversee and direct the creative vision for a start-up indoor cycling company with aggressive growth ambitions. From initial rebrand, to building a team to execute an all over brand expansion, in-studio experience design, retail and national marketing; recreating this franchise model into a sought after lifestyle company nationwide.

Chief Creative Officer

Small creative agency. Responsible for everything from creative strategy, functional design execution, to cohesive brand storytelling for clients such as: Cycle Oregon, Tea Bar, Keen, Meriwether Group, MNT Studio, Altum Mind, Dishing Up the Dirt, Bellini's, Blend Coffee, Santa Barbara Bar & Sit Still Kids Salon.

Art Director + Graphic Designer

Developed an aspirational, cohesive brand story and vision across all pillars of the company (in-studio, franchise and online) and executed through digital, print, experience, retail and social. Built, vetted and mentored the marketing and design teams, including external vendors.

Art Director

Led design in creating dynamic, strategic digital experiences, complementary social content/strategy and print collateral for clients such as: Nike Women, Nike Running, Nike Training Club, & Hawaiian Airlines.

Senior Graphic Designer

Promoted three times: 
May 2007, started as the Lead Atlas Snowshoe Co. Designer.
March 2008, promoted to K2 Outdoor Lead Designer [Atlas, Tubbs, Madshus, Karhu].
November 2008, promoted to The Sandbox [in-house design firm].

Specialty Projects: 
Lead Designer of the Retail Product Program for the 2010 Olympic Games.
