Supply Chain Management professional with strong New Product Introduction, Material Planning and Leadership experience. I have a special love for developing responsive supply chain network to bring products to consumers faster and innovatively. When I’m not getting my thrills from diving into a novel problem space to solve real-world problems through innovation, I can be found traveling, driving and exploring food varieties.

I’m most experienced in managing contingencies of the launch of new products. I have delivered over ten programs and six car launches during my tenure at Ford and Renault-Nissan. I have used several ERP systems such as SAP, CMMS, GPIRS, WERS, G2B, CATS, MeRLIN, IRIS, and QAD to manage the flow of materials, vehicle production, and product management. I had the opportunity to work with several suppliers around the globe and was exposed to some of the best industrial practices in the world, emerging technologies and business trends. I was able to implement several business process improvements through Kaizen, Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing techniques. I’m well versed with PowerPoint presentations, Excel, R, and Tableau. 

Curiosity and penchant to learn new things fuels my drive to take on any activity. The road to my pursuit of master’s degree in technology management at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign after seven years of industrial experience is a result of my thirst for knowledge.

•	Evaluated 300 test cases to prepare for the launch of Merlin Purchasing tool, increased efficiency of purchasing functions by 30%
•	Generated management reports for PPV, Budget vs Actual costing, component sourcing status, sourcing strategy and risks

•	Ensured effective communications to achieve Project schedule milestones for seamless program transfers
•	Achieved 50% increase in on-time delivery of supplies prior to the start of manufacturing build events
•	Conducted functional training for employees & cross-functional members achieving an increase of 30% in First time through (FTT)


Program & Pre-Production Management

•	Delivered 6 successful car launches of Nissan & Renault cars in India managing the supply chain activities
•	Administered Total cost reduction program saving $1M annually to drive lowest possible cost, transportation, inventory costs
•	Developed Vehicle build plan for ramp up activities before start of production for Nissan Sunny, Renault Duster programs
•	Led Cross functional teams to implement the Engineering Design Changes and Kaizens to standardize processes 
•	Ensured 100% accuracy of bill of materials to set up electronic data transfers to suppliers
•	Coordinated PPAP/ PSW process with Supplier Quality/ Vendors for timely availability of materials
•	Analyzed project cost control reporting forecast vs actual and recommended changes for meeting critical readiness


Production Control & Supply Chain Management

•	Submitted quote responses on Logistics and delivery plan and developed material readiness projections for new products
•	Conducted feasibility study and cost impact for engineering design changes and communicate the timing plan to customers
•	Received Visteon Summit Award & Visteon Leading the way Award, 2012 for the launch of M&M XUV 500 Audio
