• Leading the financial due diligence workstream, including validation of the assets and liabilities of the target, and collaborate with acquisition team to assist in transaction and develop knowledge necessary to create integration plan by working closely with all relevant functions (IT, accounting, claims, HR, marketing/sales, operations, underwriting) to build and execute integration plans • Responsible for the accurate and timely preparation and reporting of US GAAP compliant financial analyses, KPIs and financial statements for Management, Board of Directors, Investors and Bank • Research accounting standards including ASC 606, ASC 610 and ASC 718 to ensure appropriate adoption of recently issued guidance which includes the drafting of technical memos • Research, prepare and execute Finance Department initiatives such as software and systems implementation and other departmental or firm-wide improvements, as required • Manage all aspects of accounting; financial statements, general ledger, cash audit, payroll, accounts payable, budgeting, tax compliance, inventory accounting, revenue recognition, and various special analyses
