• 3D Modeling: Design the cabin interior to meet industry certification standards, use cost-efficient materials, minimize weight impact, and are easy and cost efficient to manufacture. • Weight Reports: Communicate with lead designers and stress engineers to compile accurate weight reports for all commodities. The weight reports allow us to track weight impact of our commodities to avoid overweight penalties. With a detailed breakdown of the weight impact of every part, we can improve designs to maintain functional integrity while minimizing weight. • Project Management: When our Project Engineer left the company, I took on some of his responsibilities with respect to 2D drawing release.
