Coming from a background of event and brand management in the action sport and lifestyle category, I am a passionate marketer that strives for growth and creative thinking, pushing the boundaries for success. Absolute Board Co is a Global leader in manufacturing and distributing skateboards and skateboard products. Distributed in 65 countries, Absolute Board Co has some of the top brands in skateboarding, including Penny Skateboards. 

Working in the Marketing Department as a Consumer and Category Analyst, I led the brand managers in tailored consumer research digging, into consumer trends and reactions to our brands and product releases. I also worked within our internal reporting system to identify product and category trends to equip each brand manager with the information needed in their current and future range planning.

In my time as Global Brand Manager at Absolute Board Co, I managed the full portfolio of brands including the leader in plastic skateboards, Penny Skateboards and the 40-year-old heritage skate brand, Z-Flex Skateboards. 

Reporting to the Global Marketing Manager, I was responsible for working with Product Development and Creative teams to create a new range of products and marketing campaigns. In addition to planning new ranges, I was responsible for managing existing products, social media engagement and growth, global brand margin and overall ROI of all marketing activities.

C1RCA Footwear and Apparel is a global skateboarding and lifestyle brand. Direct in US, Canada, and parts of Europe and distributed in many major countries including Australia, I was responsible for setting the marketing direction for the brand and each seasonal release and implementing that plan across all direct and distributed countries. 

As the Marketing Manager, I worked closely with product design, creative, and sales to put together marketing campaigns and materials to best set the brand and product up for success.

Marketing Director

TransWorld Media is a multi-media network of enthusiast brands, representing the largest concentration of males age 18-34 within the action sport categories. When I started at TransWorld Media, the parent company was Time Inc and then was later bought by Bonnier Corp and is now owned by The Enthusiast Network. 

I was the Marketing and Event Manager for TransWorld Skateboarding, TransWorld Surf, TransWorld Motocross, Ride BMX and TransWorld Snowboarding. I also was responsible for all PR activities across all titles. 

Working as the Marketing and Events Manager I worked directly with the publisher, sales teams and editorial staff of each publication to create and sponsor marketing initiatives and events. I was responsible for conceptualizing events, selling event sponsorships, delivering for sponsors, activating all aspects of the event and delivering results post event.
