I have a very diverse work background, starting with teaching swim lessons and life guarding I quickly fell in love with working outdoors. I then began working as a lift operator while going to school, tried wildland firefighting for a summer, then back to swim lessons for a summer, went to Alaska to work a professional job during the summers. During my time at school I held a variety of positions in the Phi Sigma Kappa Fraternity, which have provided me with unparalleled human management experience. These include: Treasurer, Housing Manager, Fundraising Chair, Philanthropy Chair. The same week as graduation, I started my own clothing brand and online website for environmentally conscious adventurers called KNARNIA. However, with any startup, it still has a ways to go before it can become my sole source of income so I am seeking a position that allows me to work with people that have a passion for the outdoors and adventure while I continue to build the brand. 

My diverse experience enables me to fit into any environment whether it be corporate meetings or shoveling snow, and I'll do it all with a smile on my face and a never give up attitude. 

Professional interface between incoming cruise ships and the port/town. Assisted directing ship while docking, boarded ships to check clearance paperwork, transported paperwork and disembarking passengers to CBP. Insured ship was following Alaskan and USA customs laws. Bought supplies for ships and billed them, rented equipment to ships and billed them. Met with ship's upper management, (Captain, Staff Captain, Clearance Officier, Purser, Medical Staff) on daily to answer questions and concerns and provide solutions. Scheduled and assisted in gangway changes in accordance to changing tides. Recorded docking times and water usage and billed accordingly. Moved supplies from ship to ship while in port. Reviewed and approved ship's port costs for the day with ship Purser or Finance officer. Communicated via radio with ships and longshoreman to coordinate gangway  changes.
