As a software developer and support lead for the world's largest distributor of industrial safety and construction supplies, I must be extremely good at multitasking and problem solving in a fast paced and timely manner.  

I am incredibly motivated to deliver real world solutions to every day problems that allow our thousands of employees across our world wide network of distribution centers to service our highly demanding customers.  As lead support analyst I was adept at responding to rapidly changing problems on a daily and hourly basis.  This experience carried over to my current position as a software developer writing the next generation of warehouse management systems using Object Oriented Design methodology. 

Having a Bachelor's of Science degree in Computer Science has given me a grounding in OO Design and efficient algorithm generation that allows me to be successful in any area of information technology using any modern programming language.

My ultimate goal is to start my own web development company making simple cost effective online educational tools available to everyone in the world.

*Responsible for design and implementation of next generation warehouse management system for all of Fastenal's world wide network of distribution centers.

*As developer I am tasked with taking projects from the initial design and tech spec phases all the way through coding, code reviewing of other developers work, development testing, go live support, and long term maintenance.

As the Lead of the Warehouse Management System Support team I was responsible for over seeing the work of the members of my team as well as training new team members in.  I was directly responsible for taking on the most critical of the critical issues facing our company.  Being the lead required constantly communicating with other leads throughout the company to explain our teams plans to solve and prevent our companies most pressing IT related issues.  Frequently I would be responsible for composing company wide emails to explain whatever issues we might be having, what we were doing to fix them, what the time frame for our fix was, and how we would prevent similar problems in the future.

Lead WMS Support Analyst

As a member of the Warehouse Management System Support team I was tasked with solving the most important time sensitive problems facing our company.  It was not unusual for me to receive a call from someone on the warehouse floor with a problem, debug a program to find the problem, code the fix, see the fix through testing and install the fix in the same day.  
On a daily basis I was communicating with end users and walking them through solutions to their problems via phone calls, email, or in person trips to the warehouse floor.  This was a very high pressure and fast paced position that required exceptional problem solving, communication, and multi-tasking skills as well as a willingness to be on call 24 hours a day 7 days a week.
