IT Director - Application Software Delivery

Key member of executive technology team focused on delivering software solutions to internal operational teams as well as external clients ranging from not-for-profit agencies to the Federal Government.  Specifically lead teams focused on enhancing and deploying new product features while implementing tools and processes to drive continual improvement in quality and efficiency.

Program Manager over key IT Infrastructure projects associated with the merger of two global airlines.  Performed both Program and Relationship Manager roles overseeing a portfolio of high priority projects.  The projects ranged from IT consolidation efforts to the expansion of other existing platforms to accommodate the additional merger related workload.
• Assisted the IBM Management team with establishing and improving relationships with key customer decision makers
• Developed tools and processes to help teams prioritize and forecast upcoming projects which proved to be key inputs into a model developed to derive future IBM project staffing demand
• Oversaw the successful completion of over 80 IT merger related projects that deployed various IT components in mainframe, distributed server, database and storage environments

Program and Relationship Mgmt

Requirements and analysis phases for a multi-million dollar application development project to replace reservation system for a major global hotel chain.
• Interfaced directly with the Vice President Sponsor of the engagement to review budget, status, issues and risks for the project
• Conducted interviews with legacy support staff and end users to understand key components of the legacy application
• Performed code analysis and created detailed documentation, use cases and process flow diagrams to be used in the next phases of the AD project lifecycle
• Played a key role in maintaining high customer satisfaction through relationship management and conflict resolution which helped lead to additional follow-on work for IBM

Project Manager and Business Analyst

Part of the IBM Senior Executive team who owned the relationship with a large strategic outsourcing customer.  Acted as a key communication channel between the customer and the IBM Delivery organizations.  Oversaw portfolio of IT infrastructure projects which required managing customer expectations, negotiating priorities and holding regular status meetings for IBM and customer senior staff.
• Developed methodology to help customer prioritize and communicate their IT infrastructure project portfolio which spanned multiple distributed, mainframe, network, database, storage and backup environments
• Managed project portfolio and pipeline during multiple monumental company transitions including the sale of the business to a private equity firm and again when they were later acquired

Deputy Project Executive / Relationship Manager

Provided leadership, recruited key talent and performed personnel management for senior members of the Travel and Transportation Consulting Team.  Successfully managed a team of Senior IT Architects, Developers and Project Managers who were geographically dispersed across the United States.

Department 1st Line Manager

Project Manager & Team Lead for the Call Center Scheduling and Adherence team. Deployed standardized best practices staffing and scheduling services to 2,000 IBM helpdesk agents across North America.
• Managed scope, budget, business case and rollout of standardized scheduling services
• Regular presentation and interface to senior staff and executive level management
• First level of escalation for internal teams as well as Helpdesk Manager population
