As the first Wilderness Conservation Intern for Los Padres ForestWatch, my primary assignment is to photograph illegal/overlooked OHV trails in the badlands of the Chumash Wilderness as well as locations of suspected illegal shooting throughout Los Padres National Forest. My position was created this year in order to highlight the human activity that is gradually destroying the forest ecosystem in an effort to heighten environmental awareness within the region.

Wilderness Conservation Intern

During his time at Patagonia, Jack learned many useful skills in the realm of customer service and non-commissioned sales. Maintaining an orderly sales floor and customer interaction were of most importance to management. Jack also assisted with back stock, repairs, and environmental grant approval.  

Sales Associate

Worked as a river guide on the Chattahoochee River in Atlanta, GA. Duties included loading canoes, kayaks, and rafts onto trailers to be transported upriver; fitting customers for appropriate life jackets; giving stand-up paddle board tutorials.
