I graduated with a BA from the University of North Carolina Wilmington Film Studies program where I learned how to write, produce, and edit digital media across multiple platforms.  While at UNCW I also served as an executive team member of TealTV, the student-run news organization.

I worked as a production assistant intern at Nancy Nayor Casting Directorship and within two weeks I was moved to lead videographer and business development research assistant. My responsibilities included reading and evaluating scripts, recording and editing actor auditions, leading research tasks, and training interns.  The business tempo at the casting directorship demanded all these tasks be executed concurrently.  Entertainment news and social media knowledge were fundamental to casting projects. My ability to efficiently collect and present data was also valued at Screen Gems Studios and Applied Research Associates.

I have experience taking projects through the full production cycle:

Creating pre-visualization storyboards, shot lists, and overheads (Shot Designer)
A and B unit camera operation 
Taking raw footage through the initial editing phase (Adobe Premiere CC 2015)
Adding graphical overlays (After Effects)
Color grading (Adobe Lightroom and SpeedGrade)
Creating interactive advertising and data visualization (Edge Animate)
Ensuring projects display properly across web and mobile platforms (Edge Inspect)
