TGW created a Divisional Merchandise Manager – Baseball position to retain my services for a period of one year. Successfully lead a cross functional company committee through a comprehensive baseball business review to identify, document and prioritize strategic initiatives culminating with the creation of a 3 year business plan. Contractual obligation expired August 2014.

Total P&L accountability for the Buying, Planning, Creative and Retail operations. Managed a team of 6 direct reports and a total staff of 24. Performed staff management, vendor relationship management, OTB/inventory management, assortment planning, data analysis and catalog/website/retail merchandising. Led the company’s transition from a disjointed entrepreneurial environment to a cohesive, process defined, data driven, profit based management culture.

Executive in charge of all merchandising, buying and planning activities. Staff included 3 direct reports and 44 team members. Leveraged comprehensive market knowledge with outstanding vendor relations to develop sales/profit enhancing exclusive product assortments and new merchandise strategies with critical suppliers. Established processes, procedures and controls with benchmark KPIs to enhance productivity and profitability. Skillfully led project team from RFP to implementation of MarketMax planning solution for perplexing business challenges.
