James Vickary: Board-Operator in Fullerton, CA

I ensure that all of the predetermined elements of programs are executed as designed. I play music, commercials, talk breaks, and all other components involving the radio broadcast. I work alongside on-air personalities and mixers to establish and distribute live programming to all listeners.

Producer for the show: “PowerFridays”. Record, edit, and produce material for nightly broadcast. Assist with other production operations involving the show. PowerFridays includes an established Power 106 personality and mixer.

Aided alongside two Programming Directors with confident assistance, edited and previewed future on-air records, timed out recorded mixes for future broadcasting, created user submitted playlists, made listener comment memos, updated the on-air studio's promos and other information, and assisted with once a month ratings. I also trained from (April 2013 - August 2013) to obtain a Board-Operating position at Power 106 Los Angeles.

Was knowledgeable on current electronics while promoting a fast, fun, and friendly service. Diligent on having the customers needs met by explaining product features, mentioning sales, performing demonstrations, and promoting the value of our products.
