I was the Vehicle Theft Unit Supervisor in charge of a detective unit that investigated vehicle and property related crimes. I assigned the case load for each detective and oversaw their efforts to solve and effect crime. I supervised the unit's efforts in station and field settings. Station settings included basic office functions for research and investigations that could be done from a desktop. Field settings included proactive efforts such as the service of search and arrest warrants, surveillance and undercover operations.
