PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT MANAGER


Manage development and production license products across apparel, accessories, collectibles, and trading card brands. 
Work closely and cross-functionally with Design, Merch, and Brand Directors during initial design and planning, and throughout development sampling, color approvals, PP/TOP approvals,
and final production.
Assist in Techpack creation when necessary along with artwork file set up for printing.
Coordinate bulk shipment deliveries from fty to DC for domestic and import goods.
Experience with domestic blank purchasing for local Production screen printing, and embroidery. Responsible for sourcing and recruitment of new suppliers domestically and overseas.
Initiate sku product creation in Fulfil ERP system, and create Purchse Orders.
Maintain WIP report, with project style information, costing, and status on deliverables.
Develop custom packaging domestically and overseas for all categories as needed.
Experience with AirTable Work management system, Slack, MS Excel, Adobe Illustrator, and Photoshop

Product Developer

•	Assist design team with trend research for design meetings and presentations.
•	Create black/white cads and line sheets and submit to Licensors for final spec and trim approval.
•	Process item creation requests in PLM.
•	Work cross-functionally with Sales and Purchasing to ensure overall execution and delivery of product.
•	Review color/artwork, spec, and Trim with Art Director and communicate feedback to factories on approval and changes.
•	Create and maintain WIP reports with sample ETA's and color/artwork approvals.
•	Complete product photography and minor editing for Sales Sheets and internal inventory portal.
•	Manage domestic and international shipping for Product Development and Sales Teams.

•	Sourcing and purchasing of high quality Eco Friendly Trims at company price point.
•	Develop new hangtags, jokers, Flashers, care labels, for any new styles and maintain core trim library.
•	Manage in house inventory of all trims and order product for low stock Items.
•	Create, process, and receive Purchase orders/invoices via Citrix AX.
•	Maintain and manage monthly budget for Design and Product development teams.
•	Recruit new vendors for trim and custom projects that meet company quality standards and budget.
•	Liaison between Design/PD and local contractors to execute custom trim work for every collection.
•	Perform consumer wash testing across all categories.
•	Coordinate Salesman samples with sample room, and ensure all styles are sewn according to tech pack construction page.  Work closely with Wash developer to send SMS samples out to wash, and ensure they go directly to finishing with correct trim.
•	Organize salesman sample shipments to all major accounts, both domestic and international.
•	Prepare Photoshoot/SMS samples for Merchandising, Marketing, and Production Teams.

TRIM BUYER AND SAMPLE COORDINATOR-MEN'S DENIM

Liaison between Design, Merchants and Vendors to ensure seasonal product concepts and line plan initiatives are achieved.
•	Reviewed and coordinated product development deadlines by ensuring all lab dips & strike off's were processed for approval.  Followed up with factory on any pending color or fit sample submits.  Attended fittings and communicated
style development changes during fittings to vendors, and requested updated costs and confirmation on fit sample ETA's to ensure delivery date was maintained.
•	Maintained and updated WIP reports on a daily basis with changes and sample ETA's.

PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT SPECIALIST-WOVENS

•   Processed and opened incoming packages from factories and handed off samples to Tech Design, and color/strike off's to graphic designers for review.
•   Updated weekly WIP and printed reports for PD to utilize during fits.
•	Maintained fabric trim library.
•   Coordinated Photo, Marketing and PR samples.

PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT ASSISTANT-WOVENS

• Directly supported all Merchants for Hot Topic and Torrid with PO creation, updates, and cost/retail changes.
• Worked closely with Planners processing markdowns, and any other promotions systematically.

MERCHANT CLERICAL

Assisted Customers via telephone, e-mail, and Social Media regarding order status, tracking information, and any
other general order or account questions.
