Janett Morgan: PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT COORDINATOR-BAGS

• Sourcing and purchasing of high quality Eco Friendly Trims at company price point. • Develop new hangtags, jokers, Flashers, care labels, for any new styles and maintain core trim library. • Manage in house inventory of all trims and order product for low stock Items. • Create, process, and receive Purchase orders/invoices via Citrix AX. • Maintain and manage monthly budget for Design and Product development teams. • Recruit new vendors for trim and custom projects that meet company quality standards and budget. • Liaison between Design/PD and local contractors to execute custom trim work for every collection. • Perform consumer wash testing across all categories. • Coordinate Salesman samples with sample room, and ensure all styles are sewn according to tech pack construction page. Work closely with Wash developer to send SMS samples out to wash, and ensure they go directly to finishing with correct trim. • Organize salesman sample shipments to all major accounts, both domestic and international. • Prepare Photoshoot/SMS samples for Merchandising, Marketing, and Production Teams.

Liaison between Design, Merchants and Vendors to ensure seasonal product concepts and line plan initiatives are achieved. • Reviewed and coordinated product development deadlines by ensuring all lab dips & strike off's were processed for approval. Followed up with factory on any pending color or fit sample submits. Attended fittings and communicated style development changes during fittings to vendors, and requested updated costs and confirmation on fit sample ETA's to ensure delivery date was maintained. • Maintained and updated WIP reports on a daily basis with changes and sample ETA's.

• Processed and opened incoming packages from factories and handed off samples to Tech Design, and color/strike off's to graphic designers for review. • Updated weekly WIP and printed reports for PD to utilize during fits. • Maintained fabric trim library. • Coordinated Photo, Marketing and PR samples.

• Directly supported all Merchants for Hot Topic and Torrid with PO creation, updates, and cost/retail changes. • Worked closely with Planners processing markdowns, and any other promotions systematically.

Assisted Customers via telephone, e-mail, and Social Media regarding order status, tracking information, and any other general order or account questions.
