Front End Developer | 02/2010 - 06/2013

My role as a front-end developer is to make sure the end product looks and functions as documented in the functional requirements. I work mainly in Visual Studio hand coding xhtml, html5, css2, css3 and using server controls so the back-end developer can focus on logic. I usually trouble shoot for IE7-9, Firefox, Chrome and Safari browsers. Currently I use jQuery plug-in and native methods to achieve client-side UX in a .NET environment.

Web Designer | 06/2009 - 01/2010

I recently completed building DNTG’s website www.dntg.net after a B2C financial money transferring website called “eWires” and “Afex Money Express” for RIA Financial Services which will be launched in late 2010. My job was to take approved photoshop designs and convert them to working XHTML/CSS while using jQuery for client-side interaction. I use Photoshop and Illustrator to cut, slice and re-draw images. I hand code XHTML/CSS while incorporating Flash sIFR and jQuery to finish off the UI before handing the pages over the developers to add logic and validation in a .NET environment.

Front-End Web Developer/Consultant | 09/2007 - 04/2009

I was brought in as a consultant to redesign www.support.toshiba.com while making the information more user friendly. I then moved into the B2C team where I helped in creating http://explore.toshiba.com and www.ToshibaDirect.com. My role was to create Photoshop layouts and graphics converting them to xhtml/css while following existing style guides and update CMS and database content. After that I started on the redesign of www.sell.toshiba.com. This site is Toshiba's B2B channel reseller site. I created Photoshop layouts for most all the pages on this site while adhering to existing style guides. Converted the Photoshop layouts to xhtml/css/jquery and handed off to developers to add logic for dynamic content.
