Managing Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable teams for operational and transactional accounting of 7 separate business entities using QuickBooks, I reported directly to the Director of Finance and CFO.
•	Manage Accounts Receivable staff of 3 for revenue audit and 140 bank account reconciliations. 
•	Manage Accounts Payable staff of 2 for vendor invoice entry and weekly check runs of over $1M.

Accounting Manager

Directed project management and implementation of corporate strategic initiatives for $35M decorated apparel manufacturer, including project identification, evaluation and prioritization.
Facilitated and approved bi-weekly payroll processing via outsourced vendor and related systems. 
Prepared annual payroll budgets and budget v. forecast v. actual reporting.
Directed all aspects of recruiting, hiring, onboarding and employee separations in conjunction with department managers. Executed confidential management recruitment activities as needed. 
Developed, maintained and directed employee benefits plans and enrollment, including annual open enrollment.
Developed and enforced organizational policies and procedures, conducted audits of corporate job descriptions and other documents.
Prepared and processed monthly outside sales representative commission payments and related reporting. 

Director of Strategic Initiatives

Managed accounting, human resources, data analysis and special projects for $14M decorated apparel wholesaler.  
Responsible for accounts payable, payroll, human resources, sales representative commissions, bank reconciliations, monthly close, general ledger reconciliations and accruals using MS Dynamics AX.
Provided monthly budget v. actual analysis on payroll and departmental general ledger accounts, daily cash flow analysis for banking and credit facility, and quarterly/annual internal and external audit support.  
Absorbed full accounts payable and human resources responsibilities to reduce staffing costs by over $125k/year.  Transitioned payroll and benefits administration functions to ASO service provider.
Responsible for domestic and international purchasing reconciliation, three-way purchase order matching, landed cost analysis and international vendor payments via wire transfer and ACH.    
Chaired internal root cause analysis committee for credits & returns.

Assistant Controller

Managed all accounting, customer service and data entry functions, 3 finance employees and 2 customer service representatives for $10M fly fishing products manufacturer.
Maintained active responsibilities for accounts receivable, cash receipts, credit and collections, accounts payable, monthly salesperson commissions, quarterly royalty payments, general ledger, monthly/yearly financials, quarterly excise tax filing, banking and account reconciliation functions using MAS 200.
Hired, trained, mentored and disciplined Administration Department staff of 5 across disparate areas of operation in accounting, data entry and customer service.
Produced consolidated monthly and yearly financial statements for 2 separate business divisions, and provided prior period and prior year analysis.  
Completed complex daily and weekly cash flow analysis, continuously updated 6-8 week cash flow forecasting, international wire transfers for vendor payments, intra-account transfers to fund payroll.

Provided hands-on management of all accounting functions and 1 finance employee for $8M outdoor apparel manufacturer.
Processed all accounts payable, general ledger, payroll, monthly financials, sales tax, banking and account reconciliation using QuickBooks Pro.
Coordinated accounts receivable, cash receipts and inventory control using Dydacomp Mail Order Manager, including complex monthly reconciliations required by parallel finance systems.
Consolidated monthly financial statements with parent company global financials using Hyperion Enterprise.
Responsible for weekly cash flow analysis, continuously updated 6 month cash flow forecasting, and related treasury management and loan advance requirements.
Implemented transition of all corporate accounting and finance functions to parent company finance department after downsizing in early 2006.
