I am a seasoned leader with a comprehensive background in creating, building, leading, and strengthening brands. My expertise includes strategic and tactical planning, business development leadership, operations, manufacturing, marketing, sales, and project management. I have a proven track record in business development, implementing strategic business plans, exceeding sales and profit goals, and managing teams. I have co-founded and led successful companies that have generated millions in revenue, expanded market share, and built loyal fan bases. In my most recent roles, I oversaw the design, development, and launch of new and existing RC products for Associated Electrics and Thunder Tiger, two of the leading RC manufacturers in the world. I also managed strategic and tactical planning, sales, marketing, and customer relations for the global markets. I leveraged my skills and expertise in operations management, supply chain management, product development, purchasing management, contract negotiation, and digital marketing to drive growth, efficiency, and profitability. I am always looking for new opportunities and challenges to make a positive impact.

Created and expanded strategic business relationships and oversaw the development of new business opportunities and growth initiatives, as well as insight into potential new markets and products. 

- Provided the company board insight into partnership management, product development, marketing, and sales for the remote-controlled surface industry
- Created promotions and dealer/retailer incentives to grow sales and reduce inventory on aged products

- Managed a custom build of the RC10 1:1 full-size replica of the RC10 for SEMA (Specialty Equipment Market Association) and marketing purposes
- Worked with the purchasing department by evaluating purchase orders and assisting with supplier selection

Vice President of Business Development 

Managed the creation, development, and execution of marketing plans and strategies, which involved collaborating with the marketing team on branding and marketing strategies for new and existing products. I also oversaw the conception and development of new products and project management. In addition, I identified short and long-term resource needs and implemented and managed department plans and budgets. 

Selected Accomplishments: 
- I successfully managed department budgets and implemented essential performance metrics and tracking tools for advertising.
- Guided the development and launch of over 35 new vehicle products.
- Created short-term and long-term SEMA planning, which involved developing the event budget, marketing plan, and objectives.
- Implemented a market research method to shape advertising campaigns strategically, oversaw their design and content, and analyzed the results to determine what was successful and needed improvement. 
- Developed positive relationships with suppliers, industry media, and influencers.

Director of Marketing  & PD                                                              

Responsible for the overall leadership and strategic planning, as well as the overall management and operations of all business aspects. Created and implemented short-term and long-term marketing strategies to increase brand awareness and sales revenue for B2B and B2C customers, managed all areas of marketing, including digital, email, social media, print, video production coordination, creative direction, and trade show and event activation.

- Successfully grew a zero-to-six-figure business from a concept to reality through strategic planning, creativity, and industry experience

Co-Founder/CEO 

As President of an already-established company, my primary focus was to enhance the company’s image among both distributors and customers. After sourcing and onboarding new suppliers, we effectively addressed key quality concerns and launched a comprehensive rebranding in 2019. This initiative resulted in a 10% increase in retail sales, and with the introduction of new products, overall sales rose an additional 15%. By 2020, Redcat Racing had established a global presence and developed strong relationships with international distributors across North America, Asia, Europe, and Australia.

President

Founding Axial in 2005, I built a highly successful R/C hobby outdoor lifestyle brand that sold to Hobbico in 2011. Hobbico, in turn, was sold in 2018 to Horizon. Staying with the brand for 13 years, I led up to 40 employees and generated hundreds of millions in annual revenue. Our massive success in the marketplace stemmed from a unique voice on social media (Facebook, Instagram) to our 550K combined followers. We hosted a significant annual event attended by 2.5K fans, and I secured partnerships with Chrysler Jeep, Monster Jam, BF Goodrich, and Monster Energy. 

Additional wins included:
- Increasing revenue from proprietary brands by 10X
- Breaking sales records with up to 20% YOY growth
- Developing relationships with international distributors
- Decreasing supplier costs through renegotiations and saving $2M to $5M/year

President / Founder

Earned two promotions to serve as R&D Project Manager and oversee product planning, scheduling, production, and supply management for HPI Racing, a manufacturer of radio-controlled cars, trucks, and monster trucks. Managed product licensing and quality control. Tracked and allocated all direct employee hours for R&D and other projects, including monitoring all expenditures and time for each project and capturing R&D data in real-time. Illustrated project links and relationships using a hierarchical presentation format. Provided QA management, identified staffing needs, and managed training and development initiatives. 
As Purchasing and Inventory Manager, oversaw all international/domestic supply management, controlled all inventory activities, negotiated pricing, evaluated suppliers, and managed all levels of sourcing.

Selected accomplishments:
- Generated significant cost savings by consolidating multiple sites and divisions. 
- Consistently met time and budget requirements for simultaneous projects. 
- Negotiated supplier terms and pricing. Managed purchase order processing and maintained Bills of Materials processing. 
- Initiated and implemented a user-friendly supplier evaluation system to improve supplier performance and product quality.
