I am a photographer with 10+ years experience.  I am currently a photographer at the University of Alabama. I regularly travel with the University of Alabama football team to shoot away games. I collaborate with designers and creative directors to ensure the visual needs and expectations are understood and met.  My work experience includes studio, portrait, action, commercial, and panoramic photography.  I regularly have work published on websites, magazines, newspapers, and outdoor advertisements.

I collaborate with their marketing and merchant teams to conceptualize and execute multiple creative strategies.  I use a diverse range of portrait, product, and lifestyle photography to tell the story of their brands.

I work to project the positive impact of The University of Alabama among the state, region and nation. I assist in establishing image goals for the University while collaborating with multiple clients to produce positive images of The University of Alabama. 

I participate in creative meetings on assigned projects to contribute to the planning, creative brainstorming, execution, and implementation of marketing communication and media relations projects.

I plan photo shoots to determine locations, clarify client's expectations, develop lighting strategy, and discuss ideas with designers.   

I create original photography, while directing models and assistants, to compose photographs that include all relevant storytelling components to the photograph. 

After the photo-shoot, I also use good judgment to edit down the selection of images, edit photos, and perform retouching when necessary. 

After initial editing, I assign metadata to images uniformly and use a decided-upon vocabulary in the file naming and metadata of each image that will allow the images to be properly archived.

During football season, I travel with the university to cover sporting events and behind the scenes events related to games.  I serve as a photographers assistant, second shooter, and editor. 

When needed, I also serve as an assistant to photographers during shoots, in pre-planning or post work to help achieve the desired product.

•     Adds proper filename and metadata for archival purposes
•     Commercial, editorial, portrait, panoramic, and landscape photography
•     Travels with the University’s Athletic Department as a photographer’s assistant, second shooter, and editor
