Responsibilities included participating in social media editorial meetings, assisting with the logistics and strategic marketing of the Sunday Night Football Bus, research and analysis in connection with the various NBC Sports digital platforms, including brainstorming new and innovative ideas to drive social media and gain fan engagement, as well as researching and gathering data to utilize in social media posts

As the only intern in the department, generally worked 20+ hours per week while managing a full course load

Strategic Marketing Intern

Responsibilities included coordinating daily interactions with Entertainment and Sports Partnership (ESP) clients and sports properties, including developing competitive analyses, preparing sales presentations, brainstorming potential marketing opportunities, as wells as research and analysis to support the creation of media plans

Contributed to a variety of client projects in each of the four major GroupM divisions (MediaCom, Maxus, MEC, and Mindshare)

Marketing Intern

Reported to Executive Vice President of TV Production.  
Responsibilities included screening upcoming shows, auditioning candidates for roles on the shows, participating in editing meetings for various promotions and vignettes, attending strategy meetings, and contributing as a member of a “think tank” team responsible for new idea generation.
Duties also included managing gift program for WWE sponsors and networks that required coordination of design, budget, sourcing, and payment for merchandise.

TV Production Executive Intern

Five Star Sports is a sports advertising firm that acts as an agency for professional sports clubs/leagues and companies wishing to advertise their products. 
Gained a solid understanding of advertising and marketing in the context of professional sports through analysis and review of existing and proposed sponsorship/marketing programs, including detailed contract reviews.
Position required written and oral communications with clients and co-workers in a relatively small company environment.
