Extremely driven manager, and visual merchandiser. With 15 years retail experience, in both specialty, and department stores. With a creative fashion background and a love for visual merchandising, can achieve an eye opening visual display that will move merchandise quickly and effectively. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Programs. Inspired Fashion Designer, who excels in every aspect of design. Has created innovative, presentable and saleable designs that have moved clients and customers.  Successfully interprets trend, color, style and other specifications to obtain an outstanding finished product ready for production.  



Keeps a strong organized library of lab dips, fabric sources, and prototypes. Communicates daily with overseas factories, and clients. Meeting the client's
standard of fit, color, and, and other specifications. Creates flat sketches and technical packages to send to manufacturer. Utilization of color matching, and
fabric skills, to build projected collections. Trend research, and finding inspiration for design ideas. 

Creates technical packages that are ready to be sent to manufacturer for production, which includes measuring sample to get exact specs, flat sketching,and making adjustments when needed. Conducts fit sessions. Corresponds with overseas factories to develop correct samples according to tech pack.



Technical Designer

Trained to represent many different brands in department stores. Doing installs in several different stores for several different brands, and training the store staff with brand knowledge. Hosting seasonal seminars for large groups to educate staff on any updates from the brands. Following plan-o-grams to set shops to standard, but also uses creativity most of the time to create an eye catching display. Submit report at the end of each visit noting specifics on sales, merchandising opportunities, and any other events that went on during the visit.

Visual Merchandiser

Utilizes creative Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator skills to develop new denim jeans, and technical packages from start to finish. While keeping in mind current trends, such as wash, stitching, embroidery, and trim, a successful piece will go into production.


Freelance Denim Designer

Successfully interprets all current trends, and maintains concept while merchandising walls, tables and most importantly dressing mannequins.  Able to insert new pieces from large shipments (between 1,000 to 4,000 units) into existing collections while maintaining floor standards, and the message of the collection.  Trains a very large sales team on current standards and changing standards, and encompasses the ability to successfully make a decision for a floor move, depending on sales, percentages, and commercial aspects. Product knowledge allows the ability to know best sellers and determine the placement of them. Assists with merchandising for new store openings.


Responsible for visual merchandising and displays of a 12,000sq ft store, including men’s, women’s and kid’s clothing. Strengthened and pushed the company’s best sellers.  Managed weekly retail report and consistently increased in sales. With a great sense of color and style, achieved all goals aesthetically and effectively, allowing the customer to have a great and fun shopping environment.  Train sales team of 20 on visual standards, and replenishment habits. Responsible for all floor movements and showcasing promos.



Interpreted researched men’s fashion trends in original t-shirt artwork and denim design.  Prior to corresponding with overseas factories for adjustments and corrections, a detailed tech pack would be developed and shipped.


Denim Designer

Created new active wear collections keeping in mind function, fit and fashion.  Relayed executive decisions as to approaching season colors, fabrics, and prints.  Developed spec sheets and drew detailed flat sketches for life like look book. Utilized pattern making and technical skills, measured, and analyzed samples against specs and communicated adjustments to factories for improvement to result in perfect fit sample.


Assistant Designer

Over achieved maximum sales goals, and maintained highest UPT’s.  Able to manage a sales team of 5 sales associates, when higher management resigned.  Came up with in store activities to assist in product knowledge and role playing to enhance sales.   Processing all shipment and making executive decisions as to where certain merchandise should be placed, utilizing key merchandising skills to create a visual outfit on fixtures for clients.  Developing creative and age appropriate window displays to draw in the target customer.
