Evaluation and modification of fit, pattern, and construction on development and pre- production samples to ensure brand standards at the final stages of product lifecycle prior to hitting retail floor. Responsible for establishing brand base standards for fit as they apply to each division as designated under the Steve Madden dossier. Also responsible for the coordination of fittings with full time fit model to address all issues for correction implementation via maintaining appropriate documentation as it relates back to product and correspondence with designer, vendor, factory, etc.  Assisted in creation of operational workflow processes, identifying key milestones and maintaining fit schedule as well as correspondence with all factory bases worldwide in order to collectively solve outstanding problems in the pre commercialization stage alongside technical director. Helped to uphold speed to market pace and honor appropriate turnaround times in reference to production schedule as well as oversee daily functions of junior team members (fit models) as applicable in supporting this role, leading cross functionally between departments and divisions. 

Technician

Responsible for all aspects of product design and development; trend research and color palette, material sourcing, sketching and tech pack preparation, detailing, technical corrections and review of prototypes, work closely with overseas partners to ensure product is delivered as expected and true to both aesthetic and costing parameters for the brand, work alongside upper management to make sure expectations are maintained throughout the development process into pre-production stages, confirmation sample review and fits, own product presentation to customer detailing product, trend, and updates to currently performing styles as well as communicate directly with customer where applicable, international and domestic travel to support development and trend research, international travel for product review and finalization; China and Mexico.

Senior Designer

Responsible for all aspects of design for the relaunch/rebranding of footwear licensee, Rampage. Worked closely with design director and upper management on brand direction, color palette and materials for 2012 seasonal drop of F/W product, maintained constant communication with P.D. teams in overseas office; provided direction through technical corrections and sampling specifications, international travel to Europe and China, domestic travel for trade shows and supplemental shopping trips.

Responsible for all aspects of design for the Libby Edelman and SE Boutique brands, as well as specific design projects for the Sam Edelman brand, working closely with overseas P.D. teams to provide product direction. Designated in house graphic designer; responsible for print development, outsole and hardware designs for all brands, illustrated Sam Edelman Spring 2009 campaign advertisements; work featured in In Style and Harper’s Bazaar April editions, illustrated product for WWD spread on patriotic footwear concepts for former First Lady Michelle Obama. International travel to Europe and China for product research and development.
