I am looking for an opportunity that will allow me to combine my passion for outdoor living with my ability to earn an income. I would like to be able to support my family while also being able to spend time WITH them.

Manage a small staff to help reach company set sales goals. We do this by providing the best customer service we can, which is a byproduct of knowing your product, being friendly and approachable, being honest at respectful at all times, and looking the part. Other responsibilities include making the schedule, ordering supplies, maintaining the store's appearance, updating prices to minimize lost profit, managing stock to maximize sales, and merchandising.

For 4 months I lived in a secluded cabin in the Black Hills National Forest in Custer, South Dakota. While I was writing a motivational book, I spent the majority of my time in the woods. Activities included back country camping, wilderness exploration, rock climbing, bouldering, and of course writing.

My responsibilities here mostly included the assembly of a remote operated weapon system. I was the head of the Internal Cradle assembly section. This meant overseeing incoming and outgoing product quality, timely completion of work, managing inventory, as well as interacting with the many government officials stopping in to see how we made our product. The overlapping dates in work history are due to the fact that I worked here on two different occasions, which should be clarified on the attached resume.

Mechanical Assembler

Travel to shows around the country to perform pitch sales. Responsibilities included everything from site set-up to site breakdown at the end of a show. It was my job to represent the company, create excitement to maximize sales, order replenishment of good based on sales during the show, and provide top of the line customer service by demonstrating product capabilities and handling all customer complaints/inquiries on the spot.

National Sales Rep.

It was my responsibility to reach out to all potential clients in southern Maine by going door to door and talking about existing, or potential signage needs. If any needs were determined, it was then my responsibility to find out how we could help them by providing material and design options. If the company was interested, I would take the required measurements, gather location details, record customer requests and relay all of the information to the office. Customer service was among the most important aspects of my job.
