-Responsible for the development of all new and existing product within
category for stores and web.
-Maintain all BOM's for all styles within collection.
-Provide costing and work on costing solutions throughout the development phase
-Own communication with vendors & regional partners
-Request and track all samples (protos, color samples, photo shoot samples, etc)
-Implement new sustainable sourcing business practices into the collection

-Development of styles from conception to approved proto type
--Maximized gross margin opportunities through leverage, product reengineering,
and sourcing strategy.
-Ensured product development was in accordance with margin requirements and production calendar.
-Direct communication with oversea vendors.
- Fabric, trim and notion sourcing. Color and fabric approvals.
-Creation of complete tech packs for each style through PLM system.
-Tracking the process of each style within several working seasons.
-Research and development of sustainable fabrics, packaging and label project.
-Hiring and management of department interns and assistants.

-Responsible for leading meetings with team related to increasing productivity
and growth in Marketing and E-commerce departments.
-Worked closely with Nepali based manager- relaying design information and gathering and assessing up to date information regarding the Nepali artisans.
-Responsible for production and planning of trade shows.

and construction updates.

Technical Designer

-Responsible for the design process, which included conceptual direction,
market research, design styling & fit as well as fabrication & trim direction.
-Partnered with Senior Designer to create seasonal direction in silhouette
design to ensure that product was consistent with market trends as well as the business strategy.
-Sketched and created tech packs for development.
-Attended fit meetings and communicated detailed comments on fit and construction to the technical team.
-Responsible for fabric and trim selection and development.

-Provided comments using flat sketches, digital photos, written and verbal
communication to enable vendors to properly execute samples.
-Lead fit sessions on live models.
-Partnered with cross functional team members to maintain deadlines and resolve
issues -Interfaced closely with pattern makers, sample room and overseas
vendors.

Microsoft and Adobe suites. Outlook, Google Docs, Centric PLM, Flex PLM,
