Freelance Graphic Designer | 01/2016 - Current
As a freelance graphic designer and WordPress developer, I work with clients to improve their brand identity, build new websites, or update their current websites. Most of my work involves logo design and website design and development, but I also work on product packaging, signage, mural work, and print marketing materials.
I work with clients directly, as well as in partnership with several marketing agencies around the U.S. as their outsource WordPress Developer, covering website updates, new pages, website refreshes, and anything else they need.
Never Summer Industries
Marketing Manager / Women's Team Manager | 03/2022 - 05/2025
I wore many hats at Never Summer. My main roles included designing and deploying all of our DTC email marketing, working on the social media team, supporting graphic design projects, event planning and management, team rider getting content for the brand, partnership communication, and coordinating and communicating with the Women's Snowboard Team.
For email marketing at Never Summer, I design the overall look/feel of company marketing emails to be cohesive with our brand, and create content for email marketing campaigns. I also develop and implement automated, trigger-based email flows to bring customers back to our website based on their recent activities, including abandoned cart, welcome series, rewards program focused, and more. Additionally, I deploy and track all marketing related emails and report on the statistics of what works, and how we can grow our audiences and sales.
For social media marketing, I help plan, design, and implement our social media content, including organic and ads/paid posts. This involves market research, graphic design, photo and video editing, and overall content creation.
For event management, I help coordinate all of our Never Summer Women’s Demo + Ride Days, which are in-person board demos and instruction from myself and other team riders. I also plan and execute monthly online events geared towards female snowboarders that involve either speakers or group discussions. Lastly, I help at other in-person events with brand activations, selling goods in-person, and talking about our snowboards.
I manage our women’s snowboard team as well, which involves communication with riders, writing contracts, sending out product, assisting in coordinating team trips, and scouting out potential talent on the mountain and online.
While not technically my title, I have been able to do a lot of graphic design while at Never Summer, including apparel design, snowboard graphics, in-line snowboard base graphics, event branding and posters, print magazine design, digital and print ads, branding for our specific board technologies, etc.

Plated Projects

Although bartending doesn't seem to have much to do with design, I work fast in high-stress situations, communicate effectively and efficiently with both "clients"? and "teammates," and I work with others as a team both as an equal and often as a leader.

Oncore Skate & Snow
Sales Representative / Team Rider | 02/2011 - 05/2012
Started as a team rider in 2011, eventually started working at the shop too. Duties included handling cash, sizing and fitting customers with the proper products, gripping and setting up skateboards, and setting up and occasionally waxing/tuning snowboards. I often help pick which new women's apparel to order for the next season as well. This job helped me gain a lot more knowledge on companies, products, latest design and technologies, etc. for both skateboarding and snowboarding.
