As an adventurer in life I am always looking for great challenges.  As a river guide I loved the challenge of sharing beautiful places like the Grand Canyon with people.  As a mom I embrace the challenge of teaching my children all the amazing things I've seen and love in this world .  As a musician I love the challenge of learning a new piece of music and the amazing feeling of playing a piece beautifully.  As a professional I enjoy the challenge of helping people in the outdoor industry to gain knowledge and experience of what the wilderness can offer to us all by just getting out there and enjoying it.  I fully believe in the mantra, "work hard, play hard."

As NA Sales Manager I am responsible for the planning and development of business strategies for all commercial accounts within North America.  I manage a team of over 30 sales reps and in-house employees.  This includes active engagement and collaboration to achieve 50% sales growth since 2019.  Cross-department communication and collaboration play a critical role for me across global channels for accurate forecasting, product line planning, team management, and sales planning.

North America Sales Manager

•	Building and growing the business relationships with Gregory Mountain’s key accounts through an exceptional level of customer service and account management.
•	Responsible for the design and management of sales assets and materials for outside sales reps for preseason, at once sales as well closeout opportunities.
•	Work closely with the Sales Director to manage contracted team of sales representatives by assisting individual territory agencies with sales information, co-op opportunities and marketing tools to grow both chain and specialty retail businesses.
•	Work closely with sales director to achieve sales goals and maintain budgets set for the sales department. Managing budgets for sales department to ensure meeting Samsonite expectations and goals while maximizing annual budgets to provide for needs of the sales team for continued sales growth.
•	Work closely with sales director to develop and implement seasonal sales programs and promotions.
•	Travel to visit with key accounts 

Sales Operations Manager

•	Building and growing the business relationships with Black Diamond’s key accounts through an exceptional level of customer service and account management.
•	Working together with buyers and MIS departments to promote a seamless, preferred method of electronic processing using EDI or the Business to Business web tool.
•	Assisting in the new hire selection process and responsible for training all new team members
•	Traveling personally to visit key accounts to maintain and promote relationships, work trade shows and events, preseason campaigns, etc. as needed.
•	Responsible for achieving sales growth, service goals and initiatives as identified by the sales management team.
•	Attend meetings to report on monthly budgets and sales analysis.
•	Assisting managers and dealers with operations regarding use and upkeep of B2B webtool.

Key Account Representative

Worked as part of a six to seven person crew to provide a safe, fun and exciting experience on a 13 to 18 day whitewater river trip through the Grand Canyon.  Working roles included
•	Trip leader (working as the team captain to manage the rest of the crew and the trip participants). 
•	Paddle captain (providing leadership and confidence in directing a six person crew of passengers to power a 14 to 16 foot paddle boat down river).  
•	Head cook (managing all food for a two week trip making sure food is monitored and maintained for the duration of the trip, providing healthy fulfilling meals for 20 to 30 people every day, and creating a cook schedule for the crew). 
•	Boat guide (maneuvering a 14 to 18 foot boat, oar or paddle powered, safely downriver through whitewater rapids). 
•	Hiking guide (leading passengers on physically and personally challenging hikes through the side canyons of the Grand Canyon). 
•	Interpretive guide (providing interesting and accurate information about the canyon ranging from a variety of topics including but not limited to geology, flora and fauna, and local histories).  
•	As a top guide within the company assisted in training new and prospective guides, properly demonstrating company policies and effectively demonstrating excellent guiding practices.
•	Additional duties included helping to facilitate passengers’ experiences while in the canyon, as well as helping to make their camping and river trip as fun, safe and comfortable as possible.

Lead Guide

As warranty manager, problem solving responsibilities included
•	Communicating directly and effectively with customers regarding warranties on products to satisfy them completely.
•	Coordinating with manufacturers on amenable resolutions to warranty problems while maintaining a low cost alternative to the store.
As a customer service representative, duties included
•	Providing excellent customer service with general knowledge of store products and services to patrons.
Other duties included but were not limited to
•	Continuous merchandising of store product to keep the store looking fresh and displaying goods pertinent to the daily demands while maintaining a high level of customer service to store patrons.
•	Acting as a liaison between management and retail employees, taking care to effectively communicate messages from management to fellow employees as well as assist with managerial duties such as new employee training.
•	Cultivating good and prosperous relationships with merchant representatives.
