I am an award-winning designer with over a decade of experience conceptualizing dynamic digital media and print collateral, as well as a leader of creative teams with a high aptitude for project management, who focuses on each team members’ innate talents to work smarter and maximize workday enjoyment, while streamlining the design process. I spend my days creating and organizing original ideas / deliverables that fulfill client objectives and fetch profits. As a systematic and kind project director, I strive to achieve ultimate work-flow-best-practice while adding substance, creativity and reason to the daily rituals of creative departments. As an expert graphic designer and project leader from management to concept and production, I hope to put my expertise to work for you.

Serving as Creative Director and Designer for Puget Sound clients, taking on ongoing projects that include book design, website updates, branding, business collateral and other creative solutions for small business.  

• Recruited to be the design-change-agent for Elevate NV Magazine and the agency that owned it. 
• Together w/ sales team, increased ad sales of Elevate NV Magazine through innovative and fresh design.
• Conceptualized, designed and managed every aspect of this monthly magazine.   
• Directed, conceptualized, pitched and designed profitable campaigns for retail, F&B and hospitality consisting of daily print campaigns / print collateral / web assets creation and countless web deliverables. 

CREATIVE DIRECTOR

• Conceptualized and designed all marketing needs including daily deliverables for print and web, social, mobile / tablet, in English and Spanish (translation provided). 
• Worked directly with the sales team and C-level executives to create effective sales collateral. 
• Conceptualized and designed assets and collateral for international events that boosted sales and fetched bonuses for executives.
• Mentored and directed junior designers. 

• Contract Creative Director for The Stratosphere Resort, Hotel & Casino - Directed 8 person design staff on daily and seasonal campaigns, with daily deliverables for print, web, social, digital signage, while also leading my own higher-level campaigns with the same kinds of deliverables.
• Contract Creative Director for Today in Las Vegas Magazine - Conceptualized, designed and produced the weekly publication while also redesigning / resizing hundreds of assets for website and social media, including photo art direction, photo manipulation, production and on-time delivery of all assets.  

• Served as design expert for Diamond Cake Magazine and directed / managed all daily agency operations.
• Art directed agency design staff, as well as freelance designers and copywriters, while also focusing on conceptualization and design of projects assigned to me. 
• Established look-n-feel and conceptualized / art directed campaigns with daily print and web deliverables, as well as a monthly magazine. Defined and upheld brand standards for a dozen brands. 
• Acted as project manager, client contact, account executive and managed vendors. Mentored staff, aided in hiring. Defined project management software, kept entire agency on task.

ART DIRECTOR

• Contract Art Director for Virgin Advertising in Las Vegas, NV, assigned to one-of-a-kind projects that included conceptualization, design and photo shoots with real people, resulting in print / web assets.
• Contract Art Director for Parametrix Engineering in Seattle, WA, designing print and digital presentations. 
• Contract Art Director for Peninsula A La Carte Magazine in San Francisco, CA. Conceptualized, designed and per-pressed the publication. Served as point of contact with the printer in China.  

• Conceptualized and designed new products including customizable stationery, calendars, magazines, extensive wedding stationery, and greeting cards, internal marketing materials and process infographics. 
• Pitched to C-level executives. 
• Performed as the art department for two large print shops, created concepts and functioned as designer, production artist, photography director, illustrator, and copywriter.

• Creatively targeted comprehensive marketing campaigns toward multiple demographics. 
• Oversaw sales and promotions store-wide, ranging from clothing to home and accessories, while running a team of designers and copywriters, and working closely with retail and media buyers. 
• Photo art directed photo shoots for year-round holiday marketing collateral. 
• Coached and mentored junior designers, guiding them on staying on-brand and on-trend.
• Honored with two Macy’s Star awards for outstanding performance.
• Conceived and designed highly profitable direct mail catalogs, POP and newspaper campaigns.

• Drove the successful transformation of a niche publication on a tight budget.
• Conceptualized the entire look & feel, article titles and ensured consistent feature sections. 
• Directed art including all layout, key research, choosing photos, and enhanced imagery. 
• Worked closely with editor and advertisers to create flow of magazine and design advertisements.
• Harvested new business relationships with industry professionals to ensure consistent return business.


• Helped brand The Bellevue Collection and Lincoln Square in Bellevue, WA. 
• Designed printed and web assets for Puget Sound businesses and non-profits. 
• Conceptualized the winning design for a national package design competition which led to increased agency viability and media attention. 
• Created an 8-page advertorial insert for Seattle Magazine featuring seasonal looks and styles, trend reports, Fashion Week events. The tone and layout are still in use by The Bellevue Collection.


DESIGNER

• Created classified ads and print layouts with speed and efficiency. 
• Designed internal marketing materials to promote upcoming events and new information. 
• Followed direction from sales team and senior designer to create innovative advertising. 


• Designed and produced marketing materials for real estate agents. Data entry.

• Assisted the Art Director with photo layout, research, and administrative tasks for a quarterly 
magazine for Lexus owners. Performed photo research including reviewing slides from many photo 
shoots and recommended photos for publication. Cataloged a large database of scanned images.
