InvincibleFuzzyThing Design
Owner | 09/2001 - Current
My freelance venture caters to small business clientsand non-profits. I take on a wide variety of projects, with the majority of them focused on website design and identity development. As a labor of love, I also design books of poetry and fiction for small, non-profit literary publishers such as Elixir and Turkey Buzzard Press.
Gambro Renal Products
Designer, Americas | 03/2008 - 11/2014
As Gambro’s sole designer on the Americas marketing team, I collaborated with team members locally and at our global offices in Sweden, supporting efforts from sales enablement to signage while adhering to brand guidelines and consistently elevating the brand. I directed photo shoots, created wall art that showcased our products as creative masterworks, worked with external agencies, and helped to evolve sales tools for interactivity. My small team of three proudly served hundreds of sales force members, delivering creative and strategic solutions to business problems.
McClain Finlon Advertising
Senior Studio Artist | 12/2005 - 08/2007
At McClain Finlon Advertising, I collaborated with designers, writers and art directors to create pixel-perfect files for clients such as Breckenridge Ski Resort, Dell, Denver Zoo, Johns Manville, Qwest, Special Olympics and Western Union. I served as one of two image retouchers and the agency’s first interactive programmer. I also helped lead Project Green, an internal recycling initiative. In fact, my logo design for the program won an agency-wide
contest—and I wrote the script, composed the music and created the animation and video we used to promote the program internally.
Spark Studios
Senior Designer | 09/1995 - 09/2001
At this small Boulder agency, I cut my teeth on hyper-creative projects for clients like Allegro Coffee, WhiteWave, Cloud Nine Chocolates, Kiddopotamus and Zome System. During my tenure, we named the revolutionary soy milk brand, Silk, and created the annual Into the Wind catalogue, which gave me the opportunity to color correct hundreds of images of stunning and state-of-the-art kites.
