• Take an idea from concept to final design of prints across all categories

• Tracks a design schedule to ensure a timely completion following the predetermined product development calendar

Graphic Designer - Print/Apparel

OTTO International, Inc. has been a leading worldwide manufacturer of quality headwear for over 50 years. Hang Ten is a California lifestyle and surfing brand that radiates a fun and free-spirited coastal attitude. Founded in 1960, Hang Ten is the original surf and California lifestyle brand & the inventor of board shorts we still use today. While at OTTO / Hang Ten I worked as a designer
on the product development team specializing with retail & private label brands. 

-Responsible for designing / developing in-stock headwear and accessories
-Created detailed tech packs for all products.
-Inspected samples promptly as they arrive from the factory.
-Executed brand development, design & marketing.
-Directly worked with overseas factories.
-Conceptually designed / created tech packs for retail & private label business. Companies included Vans, Reyn Spooner, O'Neill, Metal Mulisha, FMF, Spy Optic, Life is Good, Sonoma, Warner Music, Lids, Urban Outfitters, Real Tree, SEMA and Ford.
